2 In One…assurant Health Insurance And A Womens Health Question…?
Filed in Womans Health on Feb.20, 2010
Ok here’s the deal, I got my period like a month or so ago, and 2 weeks later, I had a light flow of really dark blood for around 8 days. I was clear for about a week or so, and yesterday it started again. I’m getting scared, and going to the Dr, but I just want to know if anyone else has been through this and had some advice.
Also, I have no insurance but would like to get soma ASAP in the event that I have complications of some sort. I am considering Assurant Health (www.assuranthealth.com), but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this insurance, and how the coverage was.
Anyway, thanks for the help in advance

It’s a bit late to try to get insurance. You run a risk of
a/ not being accepted for your pre-existing condition
or
b/ being accepted and then denied reimbursement after
they figure out you didn’t mention a few things when you
were signing up.
There are non-insurance solutions in your situation.
Email me after you decide whether or not you are
applying for insurance. Let me know what you wrote
in your application regarding your unusual condition.

LOTS of people have irregular/nonstandard periods as you describe.
the bad news is that your condition will be considered a PRE-EXISTING CONDITION and most insurance won’t cover same.
